Snow Farm has trails for all levels of cross country skiers. The season is typically from the beginning of July to the end of September. A number of international Cross Country Team base themselves at Snow Farm, and during the season events are held which cater for all levels from the citizen skier to the international racer.

Cross Country Ski Programmes

Snow Farm has a selection of programmes for both beginners and experienced skiers. For beginners our programme will take away all the mystery of how to get started with cross country skiing.

On your arrival, you check in at Reception and are shown to your accommodation and around the facilities, introduced to your instructor, fitted out with skis and taken to the trails (right outside the lodge door).

Your first lesson will be an introduction to the sport and you will given time to get ski legs before the next lesson.

Alpine Lodge

Snow Farm has on field accommodation at the Alpine Lodge, which can accommodate over 70 guests.

The Alpine Lodge has stunning views of the Southern Alps and a range of top class facilities. The Alpine Lodge can also cater for group bookings of up to 100 for weddings, conferences, or special events.

Snow Farm is located in the Cardrona Valley, 35km from Wanaka or 55km from Queenstown.
